What Should We Discuss Today ?

Last Sunday I followed the training of Translation of Qur'an by word. The training is held in a room located in one of the mosques in Jakarta. The training is only around three hours long. It's quite amazing realizing that most participants are people in the age above forties. There are only few of them in age above 25. In spite of whether the training is limited for certain people or certain group, I think it was a great beginning for Indonesian Society to spread the spirit of understanding the Qur'an. There's something that's boggling my mind outside of the traning material. The speaker said that why do most of women are eager to spend their time discussing about the story of movie they watced at night on TV than discussing about words of Qur'an they read. It was a shocking phenomenon for us as moslems. It hasn't been a common secret anymore for us coz I my self realize that fact. Honestly, It critized us. There are so many topics in Qur'an but why we are not used to discussing about one of those fabulous topics. Realizing is the beginning phase into an intention which won't be implemented without deed and effort
